Italian Design Day 2024 at EmSphere 12-18 March

Italian Design Day 2024, the 8th edition of this annual celebration of Italian design excellence, is taking place concurrently around the globe on 14 March. This year promises a showcase of chic creations under the theme "Manufacturing Value: Inclusivity, Innovation and Sustainability", resonating with the worldwide movement towards more sustainable and inclusive design practices.
The Italian embassy in Thailand has collaborated with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Bangkok office, to spearhead a series of events designed to spotlight the best of Italian design. The core event running from 12 to 18 March at EmSphere’s 2nd floor Gallery 2 features the "100 Italian Vases" exhibition together with array of iconic Italian design products spanning from automobiles to furniture, lighting, home décor and lifestyle accessories.
HE Paolo Dionisi, the Italian ambassador to Thailand, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming celebration, stating, "I am sure that the Thai public will enjoy the exhibition, '100 Italian Vases', with a ceramic live show hosted at the EmSphere. Other events will take place in the showrooms of Lamptitude, Lamborghini, EuroCreations, Seasons and Scintilla Gioielli that will involve many iconic Italian brands."
The Italian Trade Commissioner - Thailand & Myanmar, Ms Paola Guida, meanwhile, added: "The event, aiming to foster a deeper appreciation for Italian design excellence, draws inspiration from "FuoriSalone", a series of events held during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan."
