For the 22nd year, Thai Beverage PCL (ThaiBev) continues to assist villagers in the remote north and northeast regions through its “ThaiBev…Unite to Fight the Cold” project, this year donating 200,000 “Green” blankets.
Beginning in 2000, ThaiBev, in collaboration with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Ministry of the Interior, has donated as many as 4,400,000 blankets. Since last year, through innovated technology, the company has been able to adapt their production to produce recycled PET (rPET) “Green” blanks, which has helped to reduce energy consumption and waste disposal of used plastic bottles to protect our environment and resources.
