Engaging with the Romanian community has been a key priority for HE Ms Daniela Bazavan, ambassador of Romania. With this objective, the Embassy of Romania recently celebrated Romanian Community Day at Blue Parrot Restaurant. The Embassy and the Honorary Consulate of Romania in Chonburi jointly organized this event.
Thai Vice Minister for Industry, HE Miss Sirinun Siripanich attended the event.
Ambassador Daniela shared, “Our embassy is here to strengthen Romania-Thailand relations and support our community. Together, we contribute to cultural and people-to-people exchanges and enhance our political ties with Thailand. We are pleased that on this day, 7 September, we celebrated Romanian Community Day, an event we hope will become an annual activity. Special thanks are extended to our Honorary Consul, Mr Peerapon Jindasiriroj, for his invaluable support. His efforts extend beyond this celebration, as he plays an important role in building academic connections between Romania and Thailand with leading universities in Bangkok.”
During the event, two Romanian artists, Alex and Ramona showcased their performance.
The Embassy of Romania is looking forward to more events in Bangkok such as promoting a Romanian film and celebrating Romania’s National Day later in the year.
