Herbal Health : Chanun Somboonvechakarn's traditional medicine for modern life

Herbal Health : Chanun Somboonvechakarn's traditional medicine for modern life

Managing a good English-language magazine in Thailand counts as one of the hardest tasks, and it needs a devoted team, especially the managing editor who is always the one who sacrifices first.

Luckily now our team chose me to continue working again at the post, and I feel honoured to make that sacrifice.

Now Elite+ magazine has added a new editor-in-chief, John Clewley, a photographer, journalist and editor who has been based in Asia for more than 25 years. He was educated in Manchester and London, and was a lecturer at Chulalongkorn University before moving to Japan to work in television. He has written the “World Beat” column in the Bangkok Post since 1994.

Mr Clewley will work closely with Manta Klangboonkrong, who did an exceptional job serving as editor-in-chief for Elite+ over the past year. I think this is a double benefit to Elite+ readers.

In this issue, His Excellency Héctor Conde Almeida, ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Thailand, gave Elite+ the opportunity to interview him. It is much appreciated and would like to thank His Excellency for this rare opportunity to share with our audience. In addition, readers will find new content on world affairs, business and lifestyle, as extraordinary as always.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Mr Chanun Somboonvechakarn, a third-generation leader of Ouay Un Osoth Co, Ltd, for sharing thoughts on the production, distribution and marketing of a premier herbal medicine brand for our exclusive cover story. His vision and mission is worth taking into consideration in our daily lives. Good health for all of our readers!

Warm Regards,
Arthorn Techatada
