Flying High for 50 Years Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth on Bangkok Airway's golden jubliee

Hard work, dedication, passion and inspiration for me are the keys to success. It takes all of them to reach one’s goal, sustain the success and fulfi l one’s purpose in life. This issue we had the honour of interviewing Captain Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president of Bangkok Airways, on the occasion of the airline's 50th birthday. In this profi le, the captain revealed how perseverance, vision and passion maintained the business that his father built and how he carries this success into the 50th year. My team and I would like to congratulate Bangkok Airways on an incredible milestone and wish the captain the best of luck and prosperity in the years to come.

Talking about passion, which I believe is one of the biggest drivers in our lives, we have an interview with Lalita Rochanakorn, a painter whose watercolour works not only delight but also inspire. Little things in life, no matter how small and insignifi cant they may seem, can bring us joy and help us grow intellectually and even spiritually if we stop and take the time to look at them more closely with an open mind.

Another inspiring guest in this issue is jazz superstar and child prodigy Joey Alexander, the youngest Grammy Award nominee in history. At only 14, he has emerged on the global music scene with fi ery passion and unwavering determination, with a fresh take on the genre and impeccable talent. And it goes without saying that not only passion, but years of hard work, have brought him this far.

Last issue we gave you a glimpse of the inaugural edition of the International Children’s Content Rights Fair, or ICCRF, that we organized. It was a great success at bridging the regional content markets, and this issue we have updates on the winners of the ASEAN Illustration Contest and our hopes and dreams for the second edition of the fair, which will be held again at the end of the year.

We had a lot of fun putting together this issue, and I hope you will enjoy reading the articles that we have selected for you. I humbly thank you again for supporting us for the past three years. Until the next issue!

Warm regards,
