I am thrilled that Elite+ has entered its third year as we organized a celebration of the magazine’s second anniversary held at Chatrium Hotel Riverside a little over two months ago. The event was a great success, with inspiring keynote talks from Dr Surin Pitsuwan, former secretary-general of ASEAN; insightful panel sessions from Bangkok Bank executives Dr Thaweelap Rittapirom and Shoke Na Ranong; and many opportunities to socialize.

We would like to thank everyone, including our VVIP guests, who played a part in the celebration. We couldn’t have done it without the support of many and we are truly grateful.

In this issue, we also have a special interview with one of the busiest high-profi le executives in Thailand, Mr Isara Vongkusolkit, chairman of Mitr Phol Sugar Corp Ltd, who is also the elected chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT). I hope you will be inspired by his passion for modernizing the country’s business practices through the Thailand 4.0 policy. To him, it’s not just a fancy slogan; he is striving to turn this vision into reality.
