on the auspicious occasion of the 67th Anniversary of the National Day of Malaysia
On this auspicious occasion of our National Day, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Malaysian diaspora and friends of Malaysia in Thailand, as well as to my beloved country. This year marks the 67th anniversary of our independence. This meaningful occasion unites us in pride, as we raise our Malaysian flag high and come together in the pursuit of unity and progress. It is a time for collective reflection, where we honour the sacrifices made by our forebears that have shaped the Malaysia we cherish today and renew our commitment to contribute to the nation's progress for generations to come.
I am deeply honoured to have represented Malaysia in Thailand over the past six years, witnessing the strong bilateral ties that have flourished since our independence, built on mutual respect and understanding. Our enduring friendship and robust relations are consistently demonstrated through our excellent cooperation and growing exchanges in various sectors, including trade and investment, security, agriculture, tourism and border cooperation.
On this special occasion, I am pleased to reaffirm the enduring relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Thailand, further deepening the bonds between our peoples and consolidating our relations from strength to strength while exploring new areas of cooperation between our two countries.
