On behalf of the Embassy of Luxembourg, I extend my warmest greetings to all our friends in Thailand on the occasion of our National Day.
Our journey with Thailand has been marked by mutual respect and common ambitions, from a historic state visit by His Majesty King Bhumibol to Luxembourg in 1960 to the most recent visit to Bangkok by our Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel. I look forward to welcoming a high-level trade mission to Thailand soon.
As a pioneer in green finance, Luxembourg focuses on stimulating inclusive and sustainable growth. I see a lot of untapped potential in Thailand, and it is my task as ambassador to further deepen and explore new opportunities of working together most notably in the areas of finance, logistics, connectivity and people-to-people contacts.
