Uber Eats Debut In Thailand

UberEATS, food delivery application, has been launched in Bangkok by Uber, leading great food to people at the press of a button and enabling restaurants to reach new customers and grow their business. UberEATS is now available in 57 cities in 20 countries since the very first launch in 2014. Within Asia, Bangkok is the 5th city to launch following Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. More than 100 restaurants serving local favourites like Pad Thai and mango sticky rice as well as high-end burgers and Japanese noodles have signed up to partner with the platform.

Delicious meals conveniently starting from now on, users and customers can download the application on either iOS or Android. Service areas during the first phase include Sathorn, Silom, Pathumwan, Ploenchit, Nana, Asoke, Phrom Phong, Thonglor, Ekamai and Chinatown. For a limited time, Bangkok residents will not be charged a delivery fee.

According to restaurant partners at the official launched, Krua Apsorn, Appia, Rocket Coffeebar, Daniel Thaiger, and IPPUDO Ramen, with UberEATS, Bangkok dinners will be able to conveniently experience Krua Apsorn’s traditional and authentic Thai meals created by family recipes that have been passed down to the next generation and delivered in minutes. Appia’s Roman trattoria family recipes, Rocket Coffeebar’s rare cold brew coffee, Daniel Thaiger’s gourmet burgers, and IPPUDO’s TV Champion Ramen Chef dishes, along with other culinary delights will only be a tap away from the table with convenient app,

Food trucks and small sized restaurants will be able to expand their earnings through a new distribution channel with the use of the app’s cutting edge technology. Apart from these famous eateries, foodies can choose from over 100 curated restaurant partners in Bangkok ranging from Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Indian and variety of other cuisines.
