The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in the Kingdom of Thailand gave contributions to the Makutkiriwan School of the Blind Khao Yai to support the Thai Blind Orchestra through the "Be My Eyes, By My Ears" project.

The Head of Mission of the Embassy, Mr Ruzvelt Frrokaj, shared his thoughts on the importance of compassion and Kosovo's contribution to the Thai Blind Orchestra. “Even the smallest acts of help, when done with love and care, can make a significant impact. I was truly delighted to represent the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo at this special occasion. While our contribution may be modest, it comes with great love, affection and joy. Kosovo, despite being a small and prospering country, understands the value of both giving and receiving help. Not so long ago, we were the beneficiaries of support from many nations that believe in extending a helping hand to those in need.”

The Embassy’s philanthropic support included classical instruments presented to the Makutkitiwan School for the Blind Khao Yai as well as tuition for classical music classes for members of the first Thai Blind Orchestra through the ”Be My Eyes, By My Ears” project. Through this project, the Embassy of Kosovo hopes that students will find joy and fulfillment through music. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of unity and compassion, reminding the public of the strength found in community. As a nation, Kosovo knows firsthand the profound importance of both giving and receiving support.

As part of this initiative, the Thai Blind Orchestra had the opportunity to perform recently at the opening ceremony of Khao Yai Car Free Day 2024, at Khao Yai National Park.
